I am a licensed psychologist, with a particular interest in the treatment of trauma/PTSD.
In 2015, I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania. I completed my clinical internship with the Federal Bureau of Prisons where I worked with men and women with serious mental illness, providing crisis interventions, and substance abuse and trauma treatment, within both group and individual formats. Following internship, I was blessed to continue to work alongside correctional officers and staff who worked diligently in their roles as law enforcement officers. Also, I was honored to provide reentry services to incarcerated men and women in support of their lawful return to their communities.
Prior to my tenure in law enforcement, I provided clinical services as a masters-level clinician to children and adolescents referred from children and youth or the juvenile justice system. In addition, I have had experience in providing clinical services to adult men and women at Marywood University's Counseling Center and Psychological Service Center. Overall, I have been involved in the mental health field since 2002.
I carry with me the words and wisdom from many mentors who were a major part of my development as a psychologist. One of my greatest mentors once likened therapy to a journey, where the clinician served as the navigator/GPS. I am prepared with effective, evidenced-based interventions to help you on your journey. I look forward to speaking with you to determine if I am the right clinician for you.
